Group Head of Procurement

We are seeking a highly experienced Group Head of Procurement to establish and lead a consistent, commercially effective procurement function across the Atlas Group. This is a strategic role focused on delivering sustainable savings, increasing visibility and control of third-party spend, and strengthening supplier and contract management practices across the business. This is a remote position, with occasional travel to Atlas offices required as and when business needs dictate.

The successful candidate will lead high-value and strategically important sourcing activities, managing the full procurement lifecycle from requirement definition and market engagement through to tendering, negotiation, contracting, and implementation. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to challenge requirements, drive value-led decision-making, and ensure procurement activity balances cost, quality, risk, service continuity, and long-term value.

You will also establish procurement policies, governance frameworks, and supplier management processes, ensuring appropriate controls, compliance, and visibility across contracts, renewals, supplier performance, and commercial commitments. In addition, you will strengthen supply chain risk management, enhance procurement reporting, and support the development of procurement capability across Atlas through coaching, practical tools, and best practice ways of working.

As Group Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in continuously improving procurement processes, systems, and data, delivering greater control, visibility, efficiency, and value for both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
